The St. Clair County School System uses the E-Verify program to check all new employees and substitutes for employment eligibility verification.
Certified Applicants
(teachers, counselors, and administrators)
If you are interested in a certified position, you must have an on-line application on file through the ALSDE “Teach In Alabama” link. We will no longer accept paper copies of applications for certified positions.
You must also submit a letter of interest for each position for consideration as an applicant. The letter should include your name, the position for which you are applying, and the posting number. Your letter of interest may be
1. faxed to 205-594-4441
2. e-mailed to employment@sccboe.org
3. mailed to the address at the top of the page or
4. delivered in person to the Board of Education
Support Applicants
(aides, cafeteria workers, custodians, bus drivers, etc
If you are interested in a support position, you must have a completed application packet on file at the St. Clair County Board of Education. This packet includes

2. Support References (three letters or forms)
