Do you know an Innovative Teacher? Please read the information attached about how to nominate an innovative teacher for the No LimIT award given monthly. Nominations are due by the 20th of each month. At the end of the year, we will recognize a No LimIT teacher of the year.

NoLimit Teacher of the Year
We are proud to announce that Mr. Jim Wilder of Margaret Elementary was selected as the No LimIT Teacher of the Year. Here is his definition of innovation from his application: "A teacher is innovative when he or she creates. Creation, an idea, is the genesis of innovation. However, creativity is only one tenant of being innovative. The innovative teacher considers resources and how those resources can cultivate the idea such that it can be put into practice and be useful, motivating, or interesting to students. Innovation certainly is not using the newest resource or materials, but rather seeking what is available and working such that whatever is being pursued is done so in a manner that is worthy of instructional time. The equipment or using technology is not what makes the teacher innovative, it is the idea and how it is used. Therefore, if a teacher has the qualities of creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to use a collection of materials for learning that interests, motivates, and inspires the student, the teacher is innovative."
